Photography Classes
As some of you know, a few weeks ago I started my Digital Photography Course at the Portuguese Institute of Photography. Classes have been quite interesting and productive. Although the course is focused on digital, on friday we had a three hours class of Photography Laboratory Technique, working knowledge of darkroom processing and techniques, learning how to produce black and white film photography prints, operating photographic and printing equipment, determining development times and applying chemicals to obtain clear authentic prints. Its a trial and error process, but I enjoyed it very much. I understand now why the best images in the world are still produced on film. The quality of detail is still superior in film. But well, digital photography makes it easy and cheap, much easier to edit than film and even if you don't have lots of memory in your camera, you can still preview and delete images that don't look right. That can't be done with film.

Carpe Diem..
É verdade que o digital trouxe muito mais comodidade ao fotografo, mas mesmo sem nunca ter passado pela experiência do filme, acredito que esse deve ter outro encanto...

Shallow be my grave...
I think that DSLR will be as good as film too, in some years.
